Hi Barb,

We got back from Bali on Wednesday morning 10th September and I wanted to email you and say a huge thank you for allowing us to stay in your room. WOW it blew us away!! Thank you so much. And Gede, Made and the rest of your staff were the nicest people we have ever met, they bent over backwards to help us out and make us feel like we were a part of their family. They were fantastic.

Thank you so much providing us with the best accommodation we have ever had in Bali, it was a real killer to move to Kuta, where the staff didnt know the kids by name, what they liked and wanted for breakfast, or what the liked to play with, without having to ask, actually I dont think they really spoke to us at all, not like Pondok!

Thank you again and I look forward to staying there again when we come to Bali.

I\'ve been a frequent visitor to Bali for a number of years, often travelling alone. Finding this amazing little hotel has allowed me to have a Bali sanctuary, a real home away from home in every sense.

The facilities are exceptional, the rooms well appointed and the whole residence maintained to an extremely high standard. All of these things make for a happy relaxed holiday at an incredibly affordable price. But of course the true magic of Pondok are the fantastic staff.

I cant wait for my next visit, counting the days.....

We just returned from a lovely holiday in Bali staying at Pondok Ayu. I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time and will be returning again next year.

Gede and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. Pondok Ayu was perfect for us having small children and we are telling all our friends they have to go and see for themselves!

Over the years we have stayed at a different hotel on each visit covering a wide range of accommodation and we can assure you that the PONDOK AYU is second to none.
You have a well trained staff and Gede is just a real treasure ... perhaps not the correct term to describe your resident manager ... but you know what I mean.

We arrived at the Pondok Ayu with the intention of staying 3 days and stayed for 10.

What a wonderful find, a little gem. A boutique hotel with just 4 rooms offering modern
5 star rooms with +5 star service.

If you want a large anonymous hotel with loads of plastic and frozen smiles, do not come here. No plastic or frost here. Just first class accommodation with a genuine warmth and friendly service.

We have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and this hotel ranks amongst the best. Different but better. Attention to detail is very apparent and appreciated After a couple of days the Pondok feels like a second home and the staff friends you have known for years.

Even better the price is not 4/5 star either.
